As a general rule of thumb, we recommend a maximum of three years for commercial buildings, five to ten years for domestic dwellings and every year for industrial units and/or heavily used electrical installation systems. In the process of purchasing a building or signing a lease, it is perfectly acceptable to request an up-to-date electrical testing report to confirm electrical installations and circuits are satisfactory and safe.
