Factory electrical installation case study
Our biggest project to date, the electrical design and installation of a new factory with a large processing plant for Supreme Wheels, part of BCA, in Milton Keynes.
PROJECT DETAILS
LIKE Electrical were delighted to be appointed to work with Supreme Wheels, part of BCA, on the electrical works for their new factory and processing plant in Milton Keynes.
The company is building a new £2 million facility, 50,000 square feet of space capable of producing 500,000 wheels annually. This would make the site the largest alloy wheel re-engineering facility in Europe, with a state-of-the-art production process utilising 12 specialist Haas lathes.

LIKE Electrical undertook the electrical part of the new factory, both designing and installing trays, panels, cabling and network systems. The scale of the factory meant that most of the work had to be completed via access equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifters. Check out some of the specific work below:
Ongoing electrical maintenance support
Following the successful completion of the project, LIKE Electrical continues to work with Supreme Wheels supplying regular maintenance for the filters, pumps, fans etc.
This support is provided on a reactive basis 24/7 as this plant only shuts down for a few days a year.
